Red & Yellow Teardrop Tomatoes: Sweet and bite size, these mini pear shape tomatoes are delicious as a healthy snack, added to salads, veggie trays, or gourmet pizzas. In the peak summer season, teardrop tomatoes are grown in our local Santa Maria Valley fields until early Fall. By late Fall teardrop tomatoes are brought in from our growers in the Baja region through the Winter, and Spring seasons. All teardrop tomatoes from Mexico are grown under GAP (Good Agriculture Practices).

Elegance Distributors offers organic heirloom tomatoes beginning in late July until early Fall or the first frost. Varieties may include; Cherokee Purple, Striped German, Prudence Purple, Brandy Wine (Yellow, Red, and Pink). We enjoy thick slices of organic heirloom tomatoes drizzled with an extra virgin olive oil and sweet balsamic vinegar, delicious! Or use them in salads, on sandwiches, or in fresh sauces, salsas, or stews. Their intense, juicy, homegrown flavor and natural color and beauty are a delightful summer treat.
Storage & Handling: Tomatoes are sensitive and should be handled with great care. Depending on their degree of ripeness, specialty tomatoes may be stored at room temperatures for up to one week or may be refrigerated to slow the ripening process.
